I’m a writer, editor and co-host of the Mother Of It All podcast with the wonderful Sarah Wheeler. I get my kicks thinking and writing about parenthood, with a particular interest in maternal mental health. I’ve spent time on staff at publications Romper, Imbibe and Food52, but these days I’m freelancing, writing in depth about the books, people and ideas that fascinate me, like motherhood & the psychedelic renaissance, the evolution of Emily Oster, and why so many moms take antidepressants for pubs like The Cut, Romper, Portland Monthly, Food52 and PDX Parent. Copywriting is a thing I do sometimes, too, for food & drink-focused brands like Tillamook and Marshall’s Haute Sauce. I have a master’s in Food Studies (fun!) and a bachelor’s in Religious Studies (more serious, but still fun for certain philosophy dorks like me and maybe you).

Subscribe to my Substack (it’s free, occasionally & at least medium-fun), or follow me on Instagram if you’re not a weirdo.
